Summer...

Wow! It's been a long time since i've written! For those of you who may not know, i am officially going to the Ukraine on July 21. Something pretty cool about that though is on the way there, we get a lay-over in London England! We get in around 5 at night their time and fly out the next day at about 10! We also get a day of sightseeing in Kiev before camp starts this year. Last year, we went straight to camp and had our sightseeing in Moscow after. On the way home, we get a 2 night lay-over in London which means a whole day of sightseeing!!!! Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and all those touristy locations are what i hope to see that day! Also, on my list of things to do before i die is drink tea in London so i'm definately do that and also ride a double decker bus! I really wanna do that!
God blessed me so much this year! I didn't have to put any money towards my trip because of so many generous donations! Now the only thing i need funds for is Bibles! They cost $7 each and we want to take a bout 2000 over to hand out to all the kids at camp, all the kids at neighbouring camps and some of the staff at the orphanage we will be going. I really wish the kids were at the orphange but usually, Fred and Olga told us, the kids are away at relatives houses for the summer or they're at camp, like the one we put on. Last year, there were 12 orphans at our camp of 300 kids and 4 of them were even from the orphanage where we went and painted the playground equipment for them! It was soo good to know that we were directly impacting some of the kids we'd actually met!
When i get back from the Ukraine, i need to get a job. I don't really think that if i apply now anyone will hire me because of the fact that i need 2 and a half weeks off this summer for the Ukraine, and one week for camping with the Ericksons (I can't not go! That would break tradition and we didn't go last year so i am going and that is final!!). I guess i'll just b e applying when i get home. I am going to apply at a coyuple places and write in my cover letter about my summer situation but i don't think they'll hire me!
Well, i'd better go, but i'll try and be more consistent and write more frequently!

P.S. Please keep the donations for bibles situation in your prayers. That would be awesome!
