Hey Everybody!
Right now I'm at the Ericksons place in Abbotsford. It's been really fun so far. Tis morning we went shopping in Langley and Coquitlom. We went to Ikea, Old Navy and Adidas. i didn't get anything though. Right now, some people are watching Madagasgar, my mom and Karen are talking about cameras and Evan is making Mac and Cheese cuz he's hungry and we skipped lunch. THeir dog is sooooo cute and super friendly! I wish we had a dog soooo much! Since we put our cat down this past summer, i have really wanted either a cat or a dog!
The play is coming along pretty well. It opens November 29 and runs for a couple weeks so we actually do 12 or 14 shows or something like that. It's getting really close to being done but now we just have to work some last minute choreography and practice, practice, practice! For one song, we get to do some really fancy dance moves. I even had a solo in that song but it was too hard to hear in the back row so now everybody sings my solo but i don't really care cuz it's pretty high so it feels good not to be singing it alone. Being a part of this production has been awesome! Meeting new people and hanging out with people i wouldn't usually. It's pretty sweet.
Anyways, ill post some pictures of the trip when i get home and we load the pictures up!

Hey Everybody!
So at the rehearsal on Sunday, we did get to try on our costumes. My dress is really ugly. There is no other way to describe it. It is ugly. Oh well. I get to wear a big fur coat over it and some black opera gloves. Then for my waitress scene, i have to take off the coat and wear a white apron. The bad thing about having to wear the coat is that it will be soooooooooo hot! I only had it on for about 10 minutes and i was boiling. I wasn't moving, under stage lights or nervous so i don;t even want to think about what it will be like at the performances!
Yesterday, we had another rehearsal where we learned some of the dance steps we have to do. They are fairly simple so that's good and they look really cool. The down side to that is that it took an hour and a half for the whole cast to master their dance steps for four lines of music. So that kinda sucks.
It snowed all day yesterday and now it's rained all day today pretty much. It looked so pretty yesterday but now with the rain, it's just all slushy and nasty. It also getting pretty freezing out! I hope the snow and slush all goes away, then it could snow again and NOT rain then it would be better. I do have to walk home in it but, hey , that's life.
Wednesday in Spanish class, we learned how to dance the salsa! It was uber fun! This guy named Chico came into the class and taught us all the basics. Then, they boys had to go on the inside and the girls had to go on the inside and we dance the salsa with all the boys in the class. Most of them were pretty bad : ) so the girls had to lead. There were only two good ones. One of their names is Juan and the other is named Nacho.
Yesterday was kind of a rough day for me as far as injuries go. Julia and i were outside salsa dancing at lunch and we were trying to master this turn that Chico taught us but is really hard! So Julia was turning and she clocked me in the face with her elbow. Now i have a little bruise on the side of my left eye. It hurt really bad then but now it only hurts when i touch it. THen, when i had gym, we were polo minus the horses and it was super fun. I was going for the ball with my stick and somebody hit my fingers with their stick! THat hurt a lot too. So now i also have bruised knuckles on my left hand.
I forgot to write about Halloween! I went over to Julia's after school that day and she quickly pulled a costume together for me. I was a pirate. I had these black spandex pants, a big baggy white shirt, a big shiny red belt, these awesome pirate boots and a bandana on my head. I got tons of candy! We trick or treated for as long as we could but it got really cold out so we went back to Julia's house and drank hot chocolate. Then, i spent the night at her place and went to school with her the next morning.
Well, i guess that's all for now!
